Position Summary:

Reports to Terminal Manager.

Responsible for the following:

To Safely deliver Dyno Nobel products to internal/external customers in a professional, and efficient manner consistent with DNI and DNTI’s mission, vision, and values.

Role Competencies :
· Excellent customer service and communications skills.
· Willing to work rotating shifts and days.
· Clean MVR and no DUI.
· Must be able to pass a DOT pre-employment physical and drug screen.
· Must submit to a complete background check.

Essential Functions:
1. Must, at all times, adhere to Safety rules and practices.
2. Able to learn and apply comprehensive safety and operational training.
3. Perform a complete and thorough pre and post- trip inspection on all assigned equipment.
4. Safely operate 3-axle tractor and pull rocky mountain doubles.
5. Safely drive in inclement weather and mountainous terrain/mining environments.
6. Deliver product into mining locations in western states and Canada.
7. Hook and unhook double trailers.
8. Load and unload dry bulk and wet bulk products.

· High school graduate or GED required.
· Minimum two (2) years driving experience.
· Hauling bulk tank trailers using pneumatic pumps, blowers, and safety shut-down systems a plus.

· Current valid Class A CDL with Doubles, Hazmat, and Tanker endorsements.
· Knowledge of DOT, MSHA, ATF and OSHA regulations and procedures a plus.
· Experience working in a mining environment (MSHA certified) is a plus.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements (Required in USA)
Work Environment:

· Must safely drive and operate equipment and perform work duties in the outdoor environment and under adverse- inclement weather conditions.
· Extreme noise, fumes and dust may be present while working.
· Must wear personal protection equipment such as: safety glasses, hearing protection, steel toed shoes, gloves, hard hat and rain gear.
· Hazardous conditions also include parts of equipment and machinery.

Physical Requirements:
· Must be able to maintain balance while climbing in and out of a cab.
· Must be able to bend at the waist and to twist/rotate.
· On a frequent basis, must be able to sit and operate equipment for long periods of time.
· Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally from the ground to shoulder level.
· Must be able to push/pull with arms with a force up to 50 plus pounds when required.
· Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally from the ground to waist level.
