$2,000.00 / month + tips
Job starts soon! (May 01, 2017)
We're a genuine working cattle guest ranch located in scenic MT open range country!

Abbie Tillett began the TX Ranch guest ranch back in 1976 long before the movie City Slickers ever hit the big screen! Since the late 1800's it is to date a five generation ranch.

We have a cooking position available from May through September. In total 14 guest weeks. The monthly salary begins at $2,000 to $2,200 depending on work ethics and/or experience.

We provide a place for you to stay both in guest camp, camping and during in-between off guest weeks in a private RV back at the home place. Your meals are provided for you at camp along in addition lodging.

Working on the ranch is a great way to meet folks all ages and from all walks of life that are interested in riding, cattle and the great outdoors! The TX Ranch is based at two spring and summer cow camp sites. Each site has a camp cabin with a kitchen that is set up with propane style cooking, etc. To better help keep it simple we use paper products, plates, silverware, cups, etc. Ranch buffet style home cooked meals "breakfast and super" are prepared and served in the cabin. Most of the time Mid-day meal is served from a cooler out on the trail during our cattle drives, roundups, gatherings, etc. We keep mid-day meal simple but good with sandwich material, lunch meats, chips, fruit, cookies or cakes, etc. from a cooler. Dishes, cleaning and preparing your own menu is necessary Our staff are welcome to be involved with us and experience our activities, wranglers, riding and guests!

Please send us an email with your resume or cover letter, or complete an online contact form via the link provided. We look forward to hearing from you!
